hopefully I will get a 13.99 before the end of the year. I got the car in the middle of the summer it was probably a 17 sec car it had 2.47 rear end gears with a 3 speed c4. If you guys have seen my red mustang in other videos I took the rear end out of that with the suspension and now the Fairmont has a 8.8 with 4.10s with Qa1 shocks and summit racing upper and lower control arms it has a new Hurst vmatic rachet shifter a new quick fuel brawler 650cfm carburetor. Better upgraded spark plugs and and wires, stock ecm and distributor it is a 1978 small block 5.0l with a upgraded flat tappet cam mild nothing crazy. Upgraded intake Edelbrock rpm air gap and gt40p heads. I am trying to base this car in a retro area and get it in the 13's without boost,nitrous or computer upgrades my next upgrade will be a electric fan it should give me a extra 25hp. I am still adjusting the jets in the carburator it has been running really fat the car is running a lot better now I can see the car running a easy low 14's right now. I have already dropped the 0-60 by half a second and I've been slowly leaning it out.
