Where are we one month later!
Asifa was the pawn. A child of only 8 years of age who ... became a soft target by the rapist in Kashmir. The brutal gang rape and murder of 8 years old girl in Indian-administered Kashmir has put the restive state on edge.

Anika: I am not angry anymore, I am disappointed in us.

Suki: Yes, I was angry. Yes, I am angry.

Meeta: We talk big.

We were angry.

I am embarrassed.

Suki: No, I havent done much. I do not intend to forget. I will do something

Neha: It is a woman you come from!

Is this your payback? This is your respect?

Anika: Can we move forward together instead of making it an individual battle?

Tina: We need to focus on spreading education & awareness.

Meeta: I have taken a pledge. I will do something to educate.

Anika: Let’s teach boys to respect themselves and not just the girls!
Tina: We need to hang our practices, attitudes and beliefs which perpetuate gender discrimination or someone’s daughter will continue to fall prey!

Pooja: Its been a month, let’s not lose the heat, let’s at least make her soul rest in peace!

Meeta: So, at least one Asifa is safe!

Anika: Let’s not let the torch burn out!
