A rare bird today in the form of an approachable puzzle which has still been incredibly highly rated on Logic Masters Germany. It's by Arlo Lipof and it's called Roll Out The Red Carpets. (Do watch the intro to the video if you are in any doubt about how the carpets unfurl!). You can play the puzzle at the link below:

Rules:
Normal sudoku rules apply. Digits along a red line must repeat in the same order when the carpet is 'rolled out' starting from the bulbed end (e.g. the digits along the line in box 7 will unroll up column 3, duplicating eg R8C2 in R1C3). Digits in cells joined by a V sum to 5; and digits in cells joined by an X sum to 10. Not all Xs and Vs are given.

We've completely revamped the interface. Now you download the basic app free and you can choose to download additional content.
