How to Design Luxury Retail Training That Reaches a 95% Completion Rate

Here are the four principles that drove the 95% completion rate for this training course for L'Artisan Parfumeur:

1. A world that inspires desire
- a Parisian apartment, as an emotional entry point
2. A simple goal and path
- 10 points of interest to complete
3. Universal challenges that are already familiar to users
- Multiple-choice questions, drag & drop, product reconstruction
4. A consistent pace
- 1 point = 1 micro-challenge = 1 piece of feedback.

Result: 95% completion rate.

In retail, time is scarce and attention spans last only a few seconds.
So training must be adapted to the field: short, intuitive, engaging, and easy to complete.
