Incredible Finds Fossil Hunting in Florida

We made multiple once in a lifetime finds Fossil Hunting in Florida. Not only did we find many prehistoric Florida fossils, but we found Ice Age Predator fossils. Predator fossils are the rarest Ice Age fossil found in Florida. I have found Megalodon teeth by the lb. and multiple Mammoth teeth and Mastodon teeth, but these are some of the only predator fossils I’ve discovered while fossil hunting in Florida. As a child, it was my dream to go dino fossil hunting and discover dinosaur bones, and every week, I begged my Dad to take me artifact and arrowhead hunting. But I never imagined that one day we would be able to find some of these Ice Age beasts. It is crazy that these animals hunted alongside jaguars, lions, pumas, cheetahs, and sabre-tooth cats. We also did some shark tooth hunting in a spot near where the predator fossils were discovered and found multiple tiger shark teeth. While we are out shark tooth hunting and Ice Age fossil hunting in Florida Rivers, it is crazy to imagine the extinct animals that used to live here. And we are so lucky to be able to connect to this amazing history in such a tangible way!
