Underground DWV Plumbing 101

In this video, Plumber-Tom explains the basic steps for the installation of drainage piping below ground. Also known as the sub-rough plumbing, this stage of pipe installation is critical to the creation of a DWV pipe system within a building.

The 4 basic steps to an underground DWV installation are:
1. Mark out and layout where the pipes will go.
2. Create the path for the pipes by digging trenches and making place for the pipes.
3. Installation of the pipes according to code requirements.
4. Final preparation and testing.
