UK’s proposed smoking ban faces opposition despite health, cost benefits
The United Kingdom government wants to create the world’s first “smoke-free generation” by banning cigarette sales to those born from 2009 onwards. However, some are opposed to the Bill, including members of parliament within the ruling Conservative Party. CNA’s Julia Chapman has more.
