Treasure X Aliens: "Alien Ooze Fest"

We shot this spot along with 4 other brands over the course of a 3 day supershoot. This spaceship science lab set was designed to work for both Treasure X Aliens spots: Ooze Fest and Ultimate Dissection. They both have a retro sci-fi vibe, but still look distinct. Integrated LED lighting made it possible to easily differentiate the two spots with colour themes. For Ooze Fest, the glow-in-the-dark slime was a key new feature of the brand. We needed to find a balance between showcasing the glow while still seeing the rest of the product clearly. We played with a combination of darker light levels and black-light bulbs. We found that the black-lights made unexpected things glow in places we didn't want to draw attention to, (like the nail beds of our hand model) so we ended up using them sparingly.
