Making A Gentleman’s Valet Box

In this video I show you how I made a wooden tie box, with an acrylic lid. It has storage on top for rolled up neck ties, and a drawer on bottom. It’s made from wenge and maple with brass hardware. For the joinery I used miters, and reinforced them with maples splines. The lattice on top is made with a series of half laps.
