Somewhere Under The Chrysler

The "winning entry" from Generic Theater's April Fools joke, a video contest with ridiculous rules. This song, a parody of a popular melody, was written and sung by Garney Johnson.

On April 1, 2013, we announced in the morning a "Five-Hour Video Contest," with a set of entry requirements including "A wild animal" and "One or more simulated deaths." The prize was a choice of $1000 or to direct an upcoming show. During the day, there was a great deal of online controversy about whether there were in fact bats in the building. In the afternoon, our "winner" was posted, Garney Johnson (the director of our upcoming Circle Mirror Transformation and the actual writer of this parody song), who selected the "director" prize. Don't worry, that's not how we actually choose directors. Thanks to all who enjoyed the ride!
