Touring the Historical Nevada State Park of Fort Churchill

What the world needs is hope and healing one step at a time.

I'm doing a hike through the Bible and this is the second census God had the Israelites do because they were about to enter the Promised Land of Canaan this time and so all those 20 years and older were to help fight the battles to conquer their new home. It was also to determine the size of each tribe and therefore the size of the plot of land they were to be given. An interesting scenario rose up because the Zelophehad offspring had only daughters and they wanted to make sure their father's name was preserved, as it was a male dominated society.

I enjoy history, so I appreciated this state park and the short walk around the ruins was interesting, and they have a good little museum as well.
