Large operations continuing across Southwest Louisiana this morning to remove cattle from areas certain to see significant storm surge. The NHC says a 9-13 ft storm surge will impact this area. Rutherford Beach is one of just a few places along this stretch of coast that has homes right on the beach. Video includes cattle being trucked out, herds gathered up (it was done by helicopter), and shots of Rutherford Beach and area. Also some video of the numerous oil platforms off shore that are closing operations.
