H's & T's: reversible causes of cardiac arrest

An animated overview of the reversible causes of cardiac arrest, i.e. the H's & T's. If the heart stops beating these are the things doctors, nurses, and paramedics can treat to get it going again, making these super important concepts to be familiar with.

If identified early and corrected, then you may be able to prevent arrests from happening in the first place.

I got the idea for this following a difficult night shift with 3x cardiac arrests, two of which happened simultaneously. These concepts are typically presented as bullet points or a wall of text, and I wanted to create a resource that visualised them in a fun way that was easier to digest and remember.
