MOSFET GATE-DRIVE CIRCUIT Pt. 1 | Circuit Design Tutorial, Altium, PCB | MOSFET GATE DRIVE DESIGN

In this video I discuss a common problems electrical engineers face when rapidly switching a MOSFET, and I introduce a solution with the design of the gate drive circuit. MOSFETS commonly experience ringing during switching because of parasitic capacitance, and source inductance. Placing an ideally valued resistor will help to dampen the ringing.
