On behalf of KTSU 90.9FM on the campus of the historical HBCU, Texas Southern University we would like to present “This Is Our Story – These Are Our Songs” traced from 1916 to this present age.
Follow us! Reflect! Remember, and enjoy hymns of the black church. We surely can’t tell the whole story in 15 minutes and couldn’t possibly include everyone deserving inclusion. However, we intentionally aim to only whet your appetite with hymns representing decades, and to further invoke a need to preserve these precious memories and melodies in your heart, soul, and mind.
