This is the first of three shows U2 would do in Germany on The Joshua Tree tour, and the only one in June of 1987. The band play a good show tonight, Bono isn’t in the best shape, but he’s not by any means in bad shape. There are good versions of tracks like C’mon Everybody, Exit, The Electric Co, Bad, and Bullet The Blue Sky. Speaking of Bullet, Bono weirdly sings the last lines of the songs at the beginning of the track. It was also raining quite a bit around the time of the show, prompting Bono to say “screw the rain” during C’mon Everybody. Overall, a good show for Joshua Tree Tour standards, but not the best if you’re looking for Bono at his best.
