‘Enormous mistake’: Douglas Murray’s warning over planned pro-Palestine protest in London
Author Douglas Murray says a pro-Palestine march on Remembrance Day in the United Kingdom would be a “deliberate provocation” of the British people and should not be allowed to go ahead.
Thousands of demonstrators are planning to take to the streets of London on November 11 to call for an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
Mr Murray warned it would be a “great overreach” by Islamists and an “enormous mistake”.
“Either doesn't go ahead or it goes ahead and it will have to be countered because I don't think the British public should have to put up with this,” he told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“We should not have to put up with our national monuments being defiled, we should not have to put up with the Cenotaph being defiled.”
