Learn #Airflow on #Google Cloud (#GCP) to Fight #churn With #data

This video demonstrates how to setup several services in #GoogleCloud (#GCP): #BigQuery, #Airflow, a Virtual Machine Instance, and a Postgres Instance. After creating the database and VM instance, we run the Fighting #Churn With Data #Python code from a virtual machine instance, write to the Postgres #SQL database, then transfer to BigQuery. Then we setup an airflow environment and test connectivity to BigQuery. In future streams we will actually do some feature engineering in BigQuery with Airflow, but for now this is just the setup (and given the usual detours to track down bugs, just this takes a while...)

WARNING: If you actually try this yourself, you should delete your GCP resources when you are done. Otherwise Google will charge you for them every day.
