Blue ringed octopus - a thing of beauty 😍 #shorts

Nothing like I’ve ever seen, it’s just a thing of beauty 😍

Finally encountered this small but deadly blue ringed octopus! This has forever been on my must see critter list and I’m happy to have finally seen it for my self! 🎉

It darted right in front of me with its blue rings aglow. I think it was startled by my dive buddy passing over it. 😱

As soon as it revealed itself, I followed it until it settled on a rock and eventually calmed itself down. 😅

Its blue rings faded just as quickly as my heart beat and breathing slowed down. I guess we were both in shock. 😲

But what a rush this tiny thing can give you. 😝
