How $500M of Art Was Stolen by Fake Cops - The Vault
On March 18, 1990, 13 works of art valued at a combined total of $500 million were stolen from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. This is the story of how it was pulled off, and how everything had to go wrong (or right depending on your perspective) for this caper to be pulled off.
