Kelly McGonigal | How to make stress your friend (Condensed Talk)
Kelly McGonigal talks about studies that show simply thinking of stress as your body preparing for a challenge can completely eliminate stress related ill effects. Oxytocin, a part of the body's stress response actually protects your heart from stress related ill effects. Oxytocin also encourages you to crave companionship, and when you put yourself in social settings, you enhance the positive effects of Oxytocin.
