Trivia Question: Best way to step onto your bike and lift it from the kickstand?
- Turn the handlebars to the right. This will take some of the load off the stand and allow for an easier lift of the bike to center.
Question 1: KZ650 Update Email
Answer: Start cleaning up everything and go through the specs on the ring end gap. Knowing how to tune the carbs will be sorted out later once you get everything back together and get an idea of how it runs
Question 2 / Response
Answer: Thanks for sending us some pictures Greg!
Question 3: CB750 Head removal
Answer: Removing the Cam towers allows access to everything needed to split the head! Thanks for the email!
Question 4: 80’s GS850 Valve Guide install
Answer: The reamer is designed for the valve guide itself and not the head that the guide goes into. You first need to cook the head to install the guides. The reamer is then used for the guides. Unfortunately, you may still run into issues with the valve seats not sealing with the valve faces. So a machine shop may still be needed. Cutting costs on something like this may be exactly what you have been avoiding! Best of luck man.
