Jon Meacham Lecture: Winston Churchill and Franklin D. Roosevelt in the White House
Acclaimed presidential historian Jon Meacham, author of "Franklin and Winston: An Intimate Portrait of an Epic Friendship" (Random House, 2003), was the featured speaker at a lecture and reception at the White House Historical Association, conducted in partnership with The National Churchill Library and Center at George Washington University on June 7, 2017. It commemorates Winston Churchill’s visits to and ongoing presence in the White House, and particularly celebrates his relationship with Roosevelt, who is the feature of the Official 2017 White House Christmas Ornament.
