Top Ranch Hand Competition - 2019 WRRA World Championship Finals 3rd Go

Individual working ranch cowgirls compete in this event to determine the Top Ranch Hand for 2019. The clock starts when a cowgirl opens a gate while mounted then closes the gate with cooperation from her horse. There is a short ride to a wheelbarrow at the side of the arena where the cowgirl dismounts, picks up two 40-pound bags of feed and carries both to another wheelbarrow in the middle of the arena. She must then remount her horse and pen a loose steer in the arena. She must then drive the steer out of the pen and head rope it using a dally to stop the steer and face the horse. The rope may be dropped and she rides back to the center wheelbarrow, dismounts, and carries the two bags back to the first one. The clock stops when she remounts her horse. #WRRA #Cowgirls #RanchRodeo #Rodeo
