1972 Mustang Fastback Small Block 302 Disassembly Process

Well I believe its day 3 or 4 of the mustang fastback's journey to a new motor phase. Today I had the very fun and messy task of draining all of the coolant from the engine and radiator. I was tired of getting random spills on the shop floor and this is something that needed to be done anyway, prior to pulling the motor from the mustang. I managed to fill up a large container (blitz) of coolant and oil mixed together. I was going to drain the transmission but I soon discovered that on my C4 I have a one piece drain pain with NO DRAIN PLUG! This is going to be a very very messy process that I am not looking forward to. I also managed to pull the water pump and alternator from the motor. I want to speed this disassembly process along so I can hurry up and get the block and heads over to the machine shop. Enjoy the video and a few photos that I took.
