Pep Guardiola refuses to confirm or deny whether Man City will sign Erling Haaland in the summer

Pep Guardiola refused to discuss Manchester City's move for Erling Haaland in Tuesday's pre-match press conference ahead of Wednesday's home game against Brighton.

When asked about the club's interest in the Norwegian, the Spaniard responded: "[I have] no answer to your question.

"I have no concern or business in my head right now to think about what is going to happen in this club next season."

Manchester City are ready to trigger the 75m euros release clause in Erling Haaland's contract in a bid to bring him to the Etihad Stadium this summer.

Pep Guardiola's side have been leading the race to sign Haaland this year and his release clause means Borussia Dortmund are resigned to losing the striker this summer.
