The X-Files ,is a famous American television series created by Chris Carter and first aired on FOX TV on September 10, 1993, and ended on May 19, 2002. The main characters are FBI special agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully who investigate various cases are unresolved, and are believed to be paranormal in nature.

Mulder is played by David Duchovny while Scully is played by Gillian Anderson. Both work under the power of FBI Assistant Director Walter Skinner, played by Mitch Pileggi. Mulder is a character who believes in the existence of aliens and the paranormal world. Meanwhile, Scully, as a scientist with a medical background, is paired with Mulder by certain parties to stop Mulder's work. However, over time, they developed a close friendship. Scully, who initially did not accept things that could not be scientifically proven, gradually opened his mind.

The show's popularity soared in the mid-1990s, even having a feature film set between seasons 5 and 6, Fight the Future. The show's slogans became famous, such as "The Truth is Out There", "Trust No One", and "I Want to Believe." According to TV Guide magazine, The X-Files is the 2nd greatest TV show of all time, after Star Trek.
