May 1st in Prague - Strange Czech Spring Kissing Tradition

On the 1st of May, a huge amount of Czech couples gather on Prague's Petrin Hill to take part in what the rest of the world might consider being a pretty strange tradition. Kissing under the blossoming trees.

Till nowadays we can not clearly say where this tradition comes from. Some people say it's been part of the Czech culture for centuries, since the time of Celts, some people say it's around 100 years old.

Let's take a peek into this strange "love holiday". Maybe next time you'll travel to Prague, you will book your flight to be here on the 1st of May as well!
