Paintball Tournament WCPPL Event #1 by VIOLENCE.

The 2020 has officially started for the West Coast Paintball Players League (WCPPL). Big shout out to Mike Hinman, Jerry Van Cleve, and Glenn Forster for making Event #1 happen!

Due to COVID-19 breaking out in March, WCPPL was rescheduled to the last weekend of June, almost 4 months after the original tournament date. COVID did not stop teams from showing up and a total of 72 teams showed up, 27 of them being from Division 4 X-Ball alone.

The stomping grounds for Event #1 was Ambush Paintball and Airsoft Park in Moorpark, Ca ran by Glenn Forster. Homefield to many WCPPL teams, Ambush breeds many champions on the West Coast. The cool thing about Ambush is that it is an hour away from downtown LA and once in a while you get to see the legend Glenn Forster walking around.

To say the very least, the event was a success. Great competition showed up, the paint shot super well, and most importantly no one got sick (besides the hungover few).

We look forward to the remaining events for 2020!
