9 Days in Italy: Part 3/3 (Lake Garda and Venice)

Part 3/3 of my Italy Vlog: In this part of the series, we visited Lake Garda and Venice before catching a flight back to London. Lake Garda was a super welcome retreat into a cold mountain lake. The towns on the lake are laid back, and built for relaxing. We stayed in Malcesine, and found that we were one of the few Americans there. There were a few others, as well as many German-speakers.

Next, we drove through the mountains near Trento to get to Venice, where we caught a boat from the airport to the town. Venice, the sunken city, runs on the water. Ambulances, police, firefighters, and mail all operate by boat here. There are no roads for cars in Venice, only people and boats. It can be easy to get lost or stuck at a dead end in a canal, so make sure you have maps ready!
