These Culverts Are Totally Destroyed

The culverts in this low water crossing are completely rusted away, exposing huge holes in the foundation of the bridge. It looks like a rubble and concrete construction from about forty years ago. There must have been gaps in the rubble that weren't filled with concrete, and when the pipe rusted through, it started to erode the foundation.

The city is aware of the damage and plans to renovate this area within a few years. Hopefully it doesn't collapse under the weight of a truck before then!
