The battle escalates as Lara pushes into the Acropolis, now under siege by Trinity forces. With the new grenade arrow in hand, she fights to reach the tower and carve a path through the chaos. Amidst the ruins and fire, Lara learns a terrifying truth: the Divine Source holds the essence of the soul of a god—and with it, immortality.

Despite Jacob's warnings, Lara is more determined than ever to find the Source, even as she learns of the Deathless Ones, protectors of an ancient power. Meanwhile, Sofia’s trust is earned, and the path to the Atlas and the Cathedral is revealed.

With the grapple axe (wire spool) now secured, Lara returns briefly to the wilds in “Back to the Forest,” before tearing through a fortified Trinity camp near the Cathedral, leaving no survivors.
