API SP is the latest standard from API which is the successor to the API SN standard. Addinol Giga Light 5W-30 meets with the latest API SP standards so I went ahead with it and used it for around 8000km before the sample went for lab test. In this video we discuss the drop in viscosity of the engine at 100°C along with other important properties of the engine oil like TBN, Flash point etc. The video also discusses wear metals and contaminants found in the used oil.
