OC/DnD Animatic || Wait for Me (Reprise) - Hadestown
My second animatic of the year sliding JUST under the wire lol! And technically, this one is a year old. I never posted it publicly because it wasn't made with the public eye in mind. Sorry if it was confusing!
The story is one of the more intense arcs in my DnD game! We found this escaped slave girl, Tulia, who had some ancient god magic that was coveted by powerful people. We had a combat encounter with the Ashen Wraith, which we barely survived, and then with The Researcher, who came and went in flashes and altered our memory of their presence.
We THEN had a court case, in which the family that had kept Tuila as a slave claimed she was a daughter of their house. Her father however, refused to let the family claim her, and we were able to keep her. We then went on a mission to find information on these magic shells we had, and had another encounter with the Ashen Wraith. The wraith kills one of our party members (a cleric of the Raven Queen) who gives him the power to steal HP from others if he is killed by her enemies (he is not a fan of this). While we fought her, the Researcher kidnapped Tulia. We contacted her father, who agreed to help us take her back from his family.
We snuck into his famlies estate (using his cool Ethereal Plane sword) and he went awol, killing his stepfather, which Technically left him as the new head of the house! We found out that his family didn't have Tulia, that she was instead taken by the Empress Matilde, so we decided to stay in his estate as a cover to get closer to her.
And that's basically it! Again, kinda convoluted, not really made for outside eyes, but I do like the work and the other animatic I was planning this month got delayed- so expect that soon! If you've read this far wow thanks for watching you're a trooper.
