Halibut Fishing w/ Pipe Jigs w/ Humpback Whale feeding Swiftsure Bank

Our yearly Neah Bay fishing trip June 2023. John, Phillip, Dan, and I, the Bait Boy, spend a week filling our freezers for the year and have a blast doing it. This is our first time doing everything on our own out in the big water and we killed it!

Imagine this, rough water for about 5 miles almost turned us around but our trusty driver, Dan, got us through it and when we arrive it was flat water which is perfect for bottom fishing. I didn't even have a camera on yet when John hooked up immediately. It was on!

Then a Humpback whale starts feeding around us putting on a show.

Mother Nature is truly amazing and we are fortunate we had such an amazing experience.
