SpaceX Mars Lander robot arm LEGO EV3: Direct drive grabber hand testing: MYP Design & STEM
This grabber used 2 small EV3 motors to control the claws to grab the ball. It is heavier than the geared design with just 1 motor, but simpler as it does not have any gear mechanism or frame. In the end this mechanism was used on the robot arm as it was easier to make and it worked well.
