Dec. 2019 BSN pinning ceremony

Congratulations to the 2019 graduates of the second-degree nursing program at Wagner College’s Evelyn L. Spiro School of Nursing — not second-class nurses, mind you!, but graduates from a 17-month program for those who had already earned a baccalaureate degree in another field and chose to pursue a second bachelor’s degree in nursing. The pinning ceremony for those 75 new nurses was held on Thursday, Dec. 12 in the Main Hall auditorium at Wagner College.

Thanks to graduating student Janine Garcia for her talk on the meaning of the nursing pin, and to Benjamin Torres for his address on behalf of the graduating class.

And congratulations to this year's winner of the R.J. Tillman Award, Richard Spagnola.
