AliExpress TPU Inner Tubes: Cheap Upgrade or Total Disaster?

I bought 9 different TPU inner tubes from AliExpress to see if they’re a hidden bargain or a total waste of money. TPU tubes are meant to be lighter, faster, and more efficient than standard butyl tubes—but do these ultra-cheap versions hold up?

In this video, I put them to the test by:

Fitting them – Are they a pain to install, or easier than expected?

Checking build quality – Do they feel well-made, or like they’ll fail instantly?

Testing puncture resistance – Can they survive common road hazards?

Trying puncture repairs – Can they actually be patched, or are they one-use only?

Some of these tubes looked promising… but others? You’ll want to see what happened.
