Hosted by Rice University’s Center for STEM Engagement, this dynamic event brought together educators, innovators, and STEM leaders for a day of collaboration, hands-on learning, and inspiring ideas shaping the future of STEM education.

Highlights include a powerful keynote from Dr. Vanessa Sanchez, Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Rice University, whose groundbreaking work in soft robotics and smart textiles is redefining the intersection of engineering and human-centered design.

From interactive breakout sessions to educator-led research and the celebration of our 2026–2027 AMP! Innovation Award winners, AMPosium! showcased the impact of creativity, collaboration, and dedication in STEM classrooms.
