Four New Arrivals On The Farm

This week we had four new animals come in. Princess Piggy is a 1-1/2 year old pot bellied pig that has been in three foster homes in the last 6 months and had started to show aggression to dogs. Two Muscovy ducks, Peanut and Coco came in after the owners could no longer take care of them, likely due to lack of winter housing. The last one is also the smallest, a little chick came in after a boy recieved him from a farmer. After the chicks health started going down hill it was decided to bring him in to us. As the chick was completely unresponsive, it was decided that we put the chick in with a broody hen.
