Where No Monkey Has Gone Before

I hope you monkeys are keeping up with me, because we are going where no monkey has gone before. Let's analyse the barrel distortion and pincushion distortion of the black square frame and the black 16:9 frame, as they animate from a tiny hFOV up to a 90 degree FOV inside this 180 degree scene. This is important for compositing 3D videos recorded with standard (not wide angle) 3D camera rigs.
