Sensory Room at Kings Park vaccination centre

A new holistic space created at the Kings Park vaccination unit supports those with disabilities, sensory, emotional or mental health needs to receive their vaccinations in a quiet and safe environment.

Co-created together with our voluntary sector partner, Community Action Network (CAN), it's the first of its kind in Dorset.

The project has been shortlisted for a Nursing Times Award and the concept will continue to grow to support people across more our our vaccination sites.
