Tower crane disassembly Day 2 of 4: Counterweights, jib, trolley, hoist unit
Watching the dismantling of #towercrane number 1 from below in a series of time-lapses, at various speeds, both close-ups and wide shots from multiple cameras at multiple locations. On this second day (out of four days), they use the big mobile crane to remove the counterweights, jib, trolly and hook block, and the hoist unit. We also see some views of the mobile crane closing down for the night.
Originally, I thought this day was going to be only for assembling the mobile crane, but when I wandered over to check it out, I found that they were already starting the disassembly, so fortunately I got there just in the nick of time. I did have to take time out during the removal of the last counterweight to rush back and get more cameras and more batteries. The good thing is that, for once, they're working on a sunny afternoon, which is great for the photography. Normally, these kind of activities start early in the morning, which in San Francisco typically means fog and overcast, which is not great for photography. But not this time!
There's no dialogue or other audio, just music, so feel free to turn down the volume and provide your own accompaniment music if you don't like the music I have provided.
