Every year, more than 500 bodies arrive at the Los Angeles HQ of his company, 1-800-Autopsy - with the deceased ranging from A-list celebrities to anonymous murder victims. Bereaved friends and relatives pay between £2000 and £6500 to find out the truth about what happened to their loved ones. During his 40-year career, Vidal has assisted on over 19,000 autopsies. His celebrity cases have included Marvin Gaye, actress Natalie Wood, Martin Luther King’s wife Coretta Scott King and Beach Boy Dennis Wilson.
