How to re-bond broken old plastic parts. Better than glue.

I’ve used Methyl Ethyl Keytone (MEK) to fix old broken plastic with great success. If it is the right type of plastic - this is better than glue, and better than epoxy. It melts the old plastic and then when it dries, it produces a molecular bond. I’ve used this on my Arrow Ball Clocks, on my Toyota 4Runner roof rack covers, and many other things. This is great to know for any hobbyist that is trying to repair old plastic or glue plastic back together.
