in 1-2 I found a new easier method on clipping into the pipe. You do a jump and hold down left for 4 frames. This sets you up on a perfect subpixel to 420 blaze it into the pipe at the end of 1-2.
This is a easier and more consistent route and if fast enough can get you a 4-5 or higher which matches the 1-2g route.

dltr; also I found a method in 8-2 for bullet bill glitch pattern that works with all framerules with 1-1 fpg and 4-1 fpg. It gets I think a faster bill that saves time. In 8-4 however I did get bad cheep cheep patterns which lost maybe 4 frames. This could of tied nobodycallsmetubby's tas or even beaten it by a frame. I will follow up on this if I find anything else. 4:54 could happen if we save another frame somewhere in 8-4.
