When Boss released their compact pedals in the late 1970's, they had no idea the impact they would have on the music world. 40 years later, Boss has decided to commemorate that momentous release with the Compact Pedals 40th Anniversary Boxset. Included are the first three compact pedals: the OD-1 Overdrive, the SP-1 Spectrum and the PH-1 Phaser. All three pedals are legends in their own right; the OD-1 and PH-1 are still popular to this day and the SP-1, while less popular, is widely sought after. In the tradition of the original release, these pedals are handmade in Japan.
