Dame Kiri Te Kanawa reflects on the renaming of the Aotea Centre's ASB Theatre in her honour. The New Zealand centre, that she raised the funds to build 30 years ago, will now be home to the Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre. A gala concert marking the occasion will take place there on November 20th (2019). Dame Kiri will be in attendance but not performing.
