This recent flare up has lasted over 6 weeks so far. It's been so bad but it has finally enabled the rheumatologists to diagnose me after 10+ years of struggling with mysterious symptoms.

|| W H A T I S L U P U S ? ||

I have Lupus (SLE) Systemic Lupus Erythematosus which is the most common and most severe. There are also other types called discoid, drug-induced, and neonatal lupus.
Lupus SLE is an Autoimmune disease which means the immune is attacking healthy tissue instead of foreign invaders. This can effect any organ or organ systems in the body ranging from Heart, Lungs, Brain and Kidneys.
