Travis Kelce Reveals How He & Taylor Swift Met In RARE Interview

Travis Kelce is filling in the blank spaces of his romance with Taylor Swift. The Kansas City Chiefs Tight End and the Grammy winner were first rumored to be dating over the summer and went public with their relationship in recent months. Although the pair have kept the delicate details of their romance private, Travis is peeling back the curtain of their love story, telling the Wall Street Journal how they first got in touch after he failed to meet her during her Kansas City Eras Tour stop. "There were definitely people she knew that knew who I was, in her corner [who said]: Yo! Did you know he was coming? I had somebody playing Cupid," he said. And it wasn't long after that Travis got a text from Taylor herself. "She told me exactly what was going on and how I got lucky enough to get her to reach out," he said. "When I met her in New York, we had already kind of been talking, so I knew we could have a nice dinner and, like, a conversation, and what goes from there will go from there." But with dating the "Midnights" songstress comes public attention, which the 34-year-old says made him more guarded with the media. "That was the biggest thing to me: make sure I don’t say anything that would push Taylor away," he said. Clearly, he hasn't pushed her away yet. The two have been spotted out at dinner multiple times and they both support each other at football games and concerts.
